Vondelpark House Bed & Breakfast Amsterdam is located on the second floor of a hundred year old Amsterdam townhouse in the remarkably quiet residential street, Zocherstraat, in the Old West district of Amsterdam. The street is adjacent to the world renowned Vondelpark, and is named after the architect of the park, Jan David Zocher.
Our family lives upstairs on the third and fourth floors, and we want you to know that you will be a guest in a family home, not just a tourist in a Hotel.
Over the last ten years we have renovated the house to an exceptional standard of comfort, style and practicality.
The second floor was designed to make guests as cosy as possible, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Breakfast
At this time I am not offering breakfast in my B&B, however there are lots of places locally within 5 minutes walk with extensive breakfast menus. I’m happy to discuss and make recommendations at check-in.

My family and I have lived in Amsterdam for many generations, so we know it quite well. Anything you want to ask I am here for you.
Superb Location
Behind us lies the Vondel Park, Amsterdam’s biggest park attracting ten million visitors a year. Leave our house and turn right and enjoy the intimate Restaurant Fijnkost and also the unique Wine Bar, Rayleigh and Ramsay.

Excellent two-day stay. Newly refurbished, spotlessly clean. Proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Close to Vondelpark and a short tram ride to the museum area. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We’d really recommend Petra’s place. We had a very nice, spacious room in a great Dutch house just behind the park. You can walk to the centre through the park or you can pick up a tram very near the house. The house is a really good place for exploring the city while still in a quiet area. Petra was very welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful room and facilities, bright and airy. Lovely Dutch touches to make you feel that you really are in Holland. Breakfast was brought to our room, presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. A wide variety of restaurants nearby and tramstop to the city centre was within easy walking distance. So pleased we chose Vondelpark House to stay. Would highly recommend.
